Introduction!

Angelica Martinez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C for Martinez Family Practice, PLLC, operates independently.

Driven by a genuine commitment to serving the health care needs of Maverick Countians and our fellow human beings, we have opened a family nurse practice focusing on providing primary medical services to children aged two and beyond as well as both men and women [adults] at 2557 North Veterans Boulevard, Suite A, in Eagle Pass, Texas.

I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing degree and an Advance Practice Registered Nurse. Family Nurse Practitioners are permitted to provide the delivery of comprehensive health care services to their patients. According to research studies, Family Nurse Practitioners deliver safe, economical, high quality health care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses.

We provide comprehensive primary health care services to children and adults at our new Family Nurse Practice, including physical exams, immunizations, minor injuries, colds and flu, diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure, upper respiratory infections, PAP smears, birth control and other primary medical care services.

There is a great demand and need for primary health care services for children and adults in both Eagle Pass and the surrounding communities of Carrizo Springs, Crystal City, La Pryor, Uvalde, Brackettville, Quemado, and El Indio. Our Family Health Practice seeks to provide and satisfy the primary health care needs of young and adult clients in the Winter Garden Area. We welcome new patients, whether children or adults. We accept children aged two or older and both men and women adult patients.

My nursing career includes working for FDRMC as an ICU/ER Nurse and Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Nurse Manager, Administrator and Director of Nurses for home health and hospice agency in our community.  After serving our community as a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse for 15 years, I decided to pursue a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner and open my own practice.

I am a 1995 graduate of Eagle Pass High School and attended Baptist Health System School of Professional Nurses and obtained my Registered Nurse Associates.  In 2015 I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Herzing University.  In 2017 I continued my education and pursed a Master of Science in Nursing Degree at Herzing University, with primary focus in Family Nurse Practitioner. In late 2017, I became board certification by the AANP as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse.

My dedicated, experienced medical staff and I would like to welcome you and your family to visit or consult at our newest Family Nurse Practice at 2557 North Veterans Boulevard, Suite A, Voice: (830) 872-007, Fax: (855) 881-1464.
